Coco Levine, Cupcake Queen Teaches Kids to Make Cupcake Pops
I’m tickled pink to share this absolutely adorable book written by Audrey Davidow and illustrated by Leslie Dallion.
It is just the cutest book about Coco Levine an adorable little girl who teaches her disgusting neighbor Larry Contray (who doesn’t know how to use utensils) all about delicious treats on sticks… most importantly “Cupcake Pops”!
Of Course this got me interested right away!!!
It is no surprise that Audrey wrote a children’s book about cupcakes. With a love for baking and as a former journalist for lifestyle articles that once graced the pages of major magazines and newspapers, it was a natural fit.
My kids loved it! It’s part cook book, part craft book and a lot about friendship!
This book ties in so perfectly with our mold that we had to ask Audrey if she would share a a couple of books with us to give to our readers.
Of course, we had to throw a couple of molds into the mix!
“GIVEAWAY TIME”!!!
Rules for Entering:
1. Tells us who you want this book & mold for?
2. Are they more like Shimmery, Glimmery Coco Levine? Or Pickle Pop, Hot Frog, Scum Skewer, Snail Kebob Larry Contrary?
~ Each winner will receive 1 book and 1 mold.
~ Winners will be chosen by my kids (ages 9 & 10) based on your responses. Make them good! LOL!
~ Contest ends Tuesday Oct. 18th at midnight PST.

I would like to win this for myself and my daughter, Elaina. She is 15 months old and already loves to stand and watch mommy bake. She of course loves to taste my creations. I am hoping she loves to bake with me. There is nothing like baking with your mom. I would love to read this book to her as she grows and do some hands on baking as we read. I would say she is mostly going to grow up to be like the cupcake queen, CoCo Levine. Since baking is so big in my family, Elaina is going to be a cupcake for Halloween. I will be dressing up as well, dawning my white and pastel polka dot half apron. I would love to master the art of cake pops and the cake pop mold would be something I could get so much use out of. We would truly love to win this contest.
I want this for my sons who love to read and love to make treats about just as much. They are wonderfully creative boys. My son James is very much like Shimmery, Glimmery Coco Levine. He is giving and always wants everyone to reach their full potential, even if it is just cake. My son Andrew is very much like Pickle Pop, Hot Frog, Scum Skewer, Snail Kebob Larry Contrary. He is his brother reason for living. They are really great boys.
I would love to win this book and mold combo. I have 3 boys, who all, in their own way, are a little like Larry Contrary. My younger 2 boys love helping me bake goodies…and of course licking the beaters and spoons. If we won, I promise to take pictures of my messy boys helping to make ‘cupcake lollipops’ and I will send them to you to share on your blog!
Thank you for considering us
This is too cute, I want it!… *crosses fingers*
I want these for my niece, and they are defiantly more glimmery Coco Levine…
Shut the front door!!!!!!!! How cute that someone made a book about your cupcake pop mold!!!!!!!
I want this book and cupcake pop mold for my daughter, Ellie!! (and my son, Jackson) But seriously, Ellie would absolutely ADORE this book and mold. She is like Coco Levine and Larry Contrary at the same time. One minute, she’s sporting glitter shoes and fake eyelashes. The next minute she’s outside with a handful of slugs. – I can send you pictures if you like. She’s 5 years old and learning to read and she loves new books. And Ellie would love Coco Levine, Cupcake Queen. Part cook book, part craft book? That’s her all over. Her new thing is making cards for everyone she knows, and some for who she’ll meet next. She loves making friends and meeting new people. Noone is a stranger to my Ellie. She also loves helping me in the kitchen, especially when I’m creating a dessert or anything involving sprinkles. She’s the one with chocolate all over her face because she just stuck it in the bowl to lick the last of the batter. The cupcake pop mold is SOOO super cute! Ellie would love making some mud cupcake pops for her worm friends are some major delicious cupcakey-sprinkle-topped treats for her little brother. Please pick my Ellie!
I am just into cake hobby not so long. I want to win this mold for myself so as to enable me to make some cute cake pops for my nieces & relatives. Well, as for the book will be dedicate to my nieces to spread over the friendship note. They more like Shimmery, Glimmery Coco Levine, how cool!

Hello there
I`m a cake lover since all my live and I use to bake cake pops asi a gift to my kisd class, orchestra, to my church friends, family or my husband`s friendas at work in especial occasions like valentine, chritmas, thansgiven, etc. For me is a blessing to sare somthing I prepare with love.
It would be for my girls and niece.
I would have to say my daughter Jessi is like Shimmery, Glimmery Coco Levine. She is my girly girl. And my Daughter Jaci and niece Ana Banana are like Pickle Pop, Hot Frog, Scum Skewer, Snail Kebob Larry Contrary, They love to drive Jessi crazy and get dirty! They all love to be creative and bake. So this book might be based on my family. Love them to death.
I would LOVE to win this so I could share the book with my daughter (who is going to school to be a preschool teacher). The mold we would share…But to be honest, I would get more use out of! They are shimmery, glimmery like Coco Levine!!!
i would love to get this for my son. he is 11 and he has some special needs. but he has really started to like books and he love to help me bake. i can really see us using this mold to make some really cool pops for his class at school. and tanner would be like larry contrary
I would like this book for my bestest friend in the whole world ( also longest friendship I ever had). She just started making cake pops and the first time she made cake pops was with her daughters. Her older daughter is a teenager and the younger one has autism. I’m so happy they found an activity that is fun that they could all do together. I really want to encourage the family bonding and help them build lasting memories. All three of them are girly girls and love love love any and everything pink, cutesy, frilly, glittery, or shiny! So with that in mind I would say they are definitely like Coco Levine!
ok i am going to try entering this one more time
so i would love this for my son. tanner is 11 years old and has some special needs. he can’t hear very well, he can’t see very well, and he is delayed mentally. but he is finally starting to enjoy book and likes for me to read to him, he also loves helping me cook so this would be a great thing for him. he would have so much fun making these little pops for the kids in his class. in fact i might have to take this to his class so they could all make one themselves (they have a kitchen in their classroom). and i would say he is larry contrary
